Friday's Letters
Dear Easter Holiday // Well, you're all over and I'm so sad to see you go. Two weeks of being home, relaxing with family and eating far, far too much. This holiday I've had so much fun attending spinning classes and attending Clauds' Bible study. We hunted for eggs with Liam and celebrated Easter at my aunt and uncle's. We had pizza evenings with friends and countless coffee dates. I always have such an incredible time in holiday - this little community is my home and it's true that I don't feel as at home anywhere else. I'm not looking forward to the big drive back in a couple of days and I'm feeling heart sore at the idea of leaving my family for another 2 and a half months.
Dear Clauds // It's almost your birthday! I can't believe that I'm missing it by a couple of days for the third year in a row, but Nic and I have had such fun planning little surprises for you and can't wait to celebrate a couple of days early with you. I hope you have an amazing day on your actual birthday and that you're blessed by all our special family members and friends. Gosh, you're such an incredible person and I love you so much. How lucky am I to be able to call my step mom my best friend?
Dear Weight Loss // Its safe to say you have come to a screeching halt this holiday. As soon as I get back to Grahamstown I'm jumping back into the swing of things - healthy eating, gym sessions and a whole lot of giving my body the looking after that she deserves.
Dear Term 2 // You're going to be a killer. Exams and 13 weeks of lectures is not going to be fun at all, but despite the hard work that awaits me, I'm so looking forward to you. You're full of exciting events - weekends away with friends at St Francis, 21sts and many other exciting things to look forward to. Here's praying that you're a goodie and are easy on me.
Dear Me // You need to learn to be a bit easier on yourself. I sometimes think you expect too much from yourself and that doesn't always work out for the best. You're doing the best you can, and actually, you're doing pretty fantastically. Keep taking life one day at a time and you'll get there.
