Sunday Social

August 04, 2013
This Sunday I had a lot of fun linking up with Neely and partaking in her Sunday Social link up. Every Sunday Neely posts 5 questions for you to answer and then share your answers with other bloggers. Pop over to her blog and link up if you're interested.

Here are this week's questions as well my answers:
1. What are 3 items you can’t live without on a daily basis (water, food, shelter, and clothes don’t count)
Two things that I could not live without on a daily basis would have to be my Blackberry and laptop. Shallow, right? I know! But seriously, my life depends on these two things. I use them to wake me up on time, make calls to my family and friends, send and receive emails, stay on top of campus related issues, take lecture notes, blog, get assignments done and the very necessary act of watching my series. The third thing that I would not be able to live without would definitely be God's grace and adoration for me. Honestly, I don't know where I'd be without this guy, He reminds me every single day that I have so much to be thankful for and that I am loved despite my flaws.

2. What is your all time favorite book? Why?
I really loved Even Now and it's sequel, Ever After by Karen Kingsbury. These books had everything my little hopeless romantic self could ever have wanted in a book. It is a story of true love, faith and determination written in the most beautiful way.

3. What is something you’d like to accomplish before the end of 2013?
Without a doubt I want to be a licensed driver by the end of this year. My life will be so much easier once this is done.

4. If you could go back and relive any year of your life which year would it be?
I would probably relive my Matric year. This year was great for me - I was surrounded by very special friends, I was loving the leadership positions I had been placed in, I was doing really well in school, things were falling into place perfectly within my family and there was just so much anticipation and build up to finally leaving school and heading off to University. All in all, it was a great year.

5. What do you wish people knew about you without you having to tell them?
Thinking about this question caused me to realize that I don't have anything that I wish people knew without me telling them. There is a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to me and I like the fact that I can choose how close I get to people and what I let them in on and what remains secret. I believe that it is always better to find things out about people directly from them - you owe them that much.
